The cottages are just over 1 mile from the Isle of Whithorn, a quaint little fishing village where you’ll also find a sub Post-Office/Shop for basic supplies as well as a pub/restaurant on the harbour front.

At  Morrach Cottages you can enjoy a taste of “country living” in style and comfort, with the added bonus of favourite outdoor pursuits conveniently situated on your doorstep: rock-fishing, walking,  wildlife-watching, cycling. Locally you will find some wonderful sandy beaches with rock-pools the children will love to explore, whereas keen gardeners will enjoy discovering lush exotic gardens (Logan Gardens, Glenwhan) full of sub-tropical ferns and palm-trees, all thanks to the Gulf Stream and our own mild micro-climate.
